Mills Bakery - Royal William Yard

A former naval victualling yard situated on a 15 acre site these grade 1 listed buildings provide stunning waterside living. Urban Splash have an on going plan for development of the site with proposals for further office space, a hotel and additional apartments. 

M3 have supplied white matt lacquer kitchens to Mills Bakery, the former bakery building and store within the yard. The conversion of the building into a residential scheme has provided some fantastic apartments and M3 were very pleased to have been involved in the supply of kitchens to the new residential units. Incorporating built in tall units and large cantilevered island units the kitchen solution from M3 complememnts the historic building with a clean and fresh contemporary contrast. The concept of the design for the kitchen cleverly houses concealed appliances within the island unit which supports a stone worktop on a tailor made metal frame work. The development as well as having some amazing penthouse apartments also contains some small studio apartments to which M3 fitted "micro kitchens". Working closely with the project architects M3 designed and tailored a solution for the micro kitchen that incorporated all required appliances and storage within a striaght kitchen run of just 2.2 meters !
